Story:
This 2016 competition project is the birth of the totem idea. Although we did not win the competition, the concept of eco-active sculptures was born. These elements were designed to dot the walking trails of the Rifle Range nature reserve, and serve as both habitat and interpretive materials for the ecology of the park, whilst also being intriguing focal points and sculptural objects. The design also included innovative wildlife crossings, living pavilions and epiphyte roofs.
